Seattle, WA -- May 2, 2006 -- BitPal Software today announced the release and immediate availability of version 3.7 of BitPal (tm), the mobile Personal Information Manager.
BitPal is an address book, a calendar, a to-do task manager and a grocery shopping list manager. What makes this software unique is its cross-platform compatibility. Both Windows XP and Mac OS X versions of BitPal share the same database in a USB flash drive. So, you have your data on either platform.
BitPal now syncs to Microsoft Outlook, as well as Apple's iCal & Address Book. With one click, all Contacts, Calendars, Events and To Do lists are fully synced. Users can now sync their data from a Mac, move to a PC, and sync data into their Windows machine.
"With so many restrictive policies about work computers, this gives people a nice way to have their personal data handy, yet take it home with them at the end of the day," says BitPal founder Chris Kohout.
This release adds AES encryption of data and contact importing from Apple's address book and Microsoft's Outlook.
